World Government: it's time

World- celebrated expert on the cosmological theories of gravity and black holes, Stephen Hawkins insists that the human race is in ever increasing danger of being wiped out by a disaster such as sudden global warming, nuclear war, a genetically engineered virus or other dangers.

‘I think the human race has no future if it doesn’t go into space,’ claims Stephen Hawkins.

I’m not as ready to give up on planet Earth and cite the International Space Station as an example of what is possible when nations collaborate and a model for what can be achieved through international cooperation. Bob Cabana, the astronaut who commanded the first space station assembly mission said,' If we can learn to work together 200 miles above Earth, in the vacuum of space, and pull this project off, we can do anything.’

Inspirational words that we need to apply to the serious challenges we now face on Earth.  Global warming, over population, refugees, terrorism and pandemics are all problems that must be solved if the human race is to exist into the year three thousand.  Piecemeal programs put forward by individual states are useless, solutions to global problems can only be found by agreement and compliance by all nations. Perhaps the time has come for a world government.
