“Symptoms of the disease include nausea and vomiting, paralysis, dry mouth and difficulty in breathing. The paralysis spreads to the limbs. In the arms, it commences in the shoulders and travels to the forearms and in the legs, from the thighs down to the feet. Difficulty in breathing and the resulting build up of carbon dioxide leads to coma. Death occurs within thirty minutes of inhalation.”– extract from the diary of Frederick Holden
A study of Holden’s papers revealed that the next great leap forward by the ISS team was converting the droplets into a pressurized aerosol spray for ease of transportation. When pressurized spray tanks of the toxin are fitted to a fixed wing aircraft, he wrote that 100kg of Agent H could be dispersed over 300km² with dissemination efficiencies of 90% and an estimated 3.5 million fatalities.
While the ISS’s secret biological warfare program may have revolutionized modern warfare, this reporter can’t help but feel sympathy for people watching in fear as military aircraft stain the skies with a biocide that swells into synthetic clouds that linger suspended overhead for days.
(Author’s note: The Biocide Conspiracy is a work of fiction. Frederick Holden is a character of my creation. Agent H and the secret laboratory on the International Space Station are pure invention.)
All the same, allegations that BW aerosol sprays are being tested in the USA persist, with numerous sightings of chemical trails and complaints that human beings are being used as guinea pigs. And, if you wanted a secure location to operate a top secret project ...
